Original necklace pendant created with an original recycled piece of a Huipil blouse. A Huipil is a garment and a Mayan art form. Each woven garment portrays the celebration of daily and seasonal cycles. Women from Mexico to Central America with Mayan roots create these beautiful garments and each village have their own designs.

I took a small woven colorful Huipil piece, hand sewed decopauged bamboo tile with the ever stunning sacred heart. I added red Czech faceted glass beads to embellish
& a tiny cross. The findins are silver plated, the chain is 24 inches + the pendant 3 1/4 inches, it's a long necklace to be worn and make a stunning piece. Ends with a secure toggle clasp.

I hand sewed the piece to silk ribbon(back)and the edges are all treated with Fray Check, so do not worry about any fraying.

Really unique! Really one of a kind! In a box.
