1. POSTER-ROLLED: Fine Art Production with archival inks and heavy Photo Satin Paper for ultra-rich color depth - important for seeing the complex oceanography and terrain on the map.

The map is ROLLED in a plastic tube and placed in another tube for safe shipping.
Fits in standard frames.
Canvas-rolled maps are available upon request.

BOTH Framed Push Pin Map Materials: Canvas and Satin Paper are EQUALLY great for push pins! Choose canvas for texture. Choose satin paper for a modern fine art finish. We mount the map that bounds to the durable pin board and hold the pins tight. Also, pin holes are NOT a concern. They are too tiny to notice at any distance.

2. FRAMED PUSH PIN MAPS: Fine Art production on Photo Satin Paper for the rich color depth:
The map is individually printed on the highest quality photo-satin/heavy-weight paper. The rich color depth highlights the beautiful geography and ocean elevation on the map.

Framed pin maps are heat mounted to the Gatorboard and then placed through a huge rolling press to create a smooth and lasting bound. The result is a durable and impressionable map. We do not use flimsy Foam Cores which will warp and curl.

✔ CANVAS Maps Types: Our Premium Cotton Canvas has a tight weave and beautiful texture. The map can be touched and features a special coating to protect the map.

3. Canvas + Any Frame: The map is printed on premium cotton canvas with archival inks. The canvas is then backed with Gatorboard and rolled through a giant rolling press. The map is then finished with an exterior frame of your choice. Please SPECIFY your FRAME CHOICE in the 'Notes to Seller' when checking out.

4. CANVAS WRAP PUSH PIN MAP: features a hidden frame. The map is printed on 100% cotton canvas, mounted on Gatorboard, and rolled through a giant rolling press. Our canvas wraps are a full 2" in depth! (rather than 1.5 or even 3/4"). Our craftsmanship is incredible.

A bonus with the canvas wrap: We extend the map detail around the sides to the back of the map. We can offer the largest size with the canvas wrap frame.

⭐ FAQ ⭐

➤Cartographer's Recommendation: SIZE has the biggest impact when selecting one of our maps, by far! The world is enormous! The larger the surface to reference the map, the more impressive the display! The larger the labeling the larger geography!

➤If I take a pin out, will I see a hole? The pin holes are incredibly small and not visible at most distances. This is truly not a concern at all.

➤ Is a Canvas or Satin Paper Pin Map better:
Both are EQUALLY great as a pin map.
From normal distances (4 feet away) from the map, you cannot tell the difference in the material: Satin Paper or Canvas.

The Satin Paper is built for rich color depth and is ultra smooth and modern. We mount the Satin Paper on the Pin Board. This is an impressive display and durable bound. This material is my recommendation, unless the map will be touched mostly by children, then I would choose Canvas.

The Canvas surface adds texture. We use the BEST canvas with natural cotton (not plastic synthetic material like most canvas wrap shops). Our printing technology is the highest-quality latex printing that adds a protective coating to the canvas. The canvas can be touched. The canvas is recommended mostly when children will be touching the map or for adding more sound dampening in a room.

Canvas Wrap - choose this option, if you like a modern frameless display of the map.

➤ Does the frame have glass? No, glass is not needed and it looks fabulous without it. We mount all of our framed maps on a durable pin board that is designed to hold the map pins tight for decades. It's a fine art, museum quality, and hand-crafted work.

➤ Can I purchase a mounted pin map that is not framed? Yes, the cost discount is $10 less than the Black Modern Frame as it takes more effort to package and ship the map without the frame. Contact me.

➤ Is the map available in a larger size?
Yes, the maps can be produced in larger sizes, please contact me. We offer the map at 60x40 and 72x48 inches as Rolled Prints, Rolled Canvas, or 3-panel Canvas Wrap Pin Maps.
