This drawing documents six different early 20th century transportation methods at Sixth Avenue at Third-third street including foot passage, the Manhattan Elevated Railroad, the Street surface and Metropolitan Street Railway, the New Rapid Transit Subway, the Hudson and Manhattan Railroad Station and the Pennsylvania Railroad Tunnel.

The paper measures 7 x 9 inches with a print area of 4 ½ x 7 ½ inches. There is a mild degree of tanning to the paper’s edges and an age spot in the left border surrounding the illustration. The illustrations are numbered and below the print is text describing the cross-section diagram.

The reverse side of the page has a photogravure of the New York and New Jersey Tunel showing a signal and car and accompanying descriptive text.

Mailed to you by first class mail in a non-bendable mailer.
