Vintage Circle Quilt Pattern

This quilt is not pieced, it is a soft/raw edge applique.

Directions for 40" x 40" quilt and an 80" x 80"

This listing is for the quilt pattern, "Vintage Circle Quilt." It's a follow-up to the popular Vintage Baby Quilt by yoyomama!

The question I get the most for the Vintage Baby Quilt is how do I make it bigger? This pattern explains step by step how to make a larger size. This soft/raw edge method of applique is done by sewing the entire quilt all at once. Pick your favorite 5" charm squares or yardage, cut out the shapes, layer the quilt (backing/batting/muslin/shapes), then you sew through all of the layers at once. You "quilt" it as you sew through all layers. The shapes have a raggy edge, that just gets cuter when it's washed. It's an easy quilt & even better, when you are done, the quilting is done too, you just need to bind.

This is a pattern you will use many times. It includes directions for using a 5" and a 4" shape. It's adorable with any kind of fabric. It's the perfect baby shower gift. Note: This listing is not for the actual quilt, it is for a sewing pattern to make the quilt.

The pattern calls for spray adhesive, glue sticks, you may want to use a pencil or washable fabric pen.
