Description:
Relief sculpture of a young woman, half-length, with a star on her head, surrounded by a halo and semecircle of stars, holding a long ribbon with outstretched arms, lettered with 'Ever let love and truth prevail.'; illustration to 'The Art Journal'; after a drawing by Roffe of the sculpture by Edwards. 1866
Stipple and engraving
It measures approx. 12 3/4" by a tad shy of 8 5/8". Check out pics and zoom to see edge-wear and condition.
Suitable for framing. Sold AS FOUND. Priced accordingly. Poor top left corner (it's fragile and you may end up removing it), otherwise good vintage condition. Could be nicely matted and framed.

We offer layaway plans for items above $100. There is a 25% nonrefundable deposit with the balance due within 45 days. Just ask me for more details!

I ship with the US Postal service and I am happy to discuss shipping options with you should you wish to use another service. Insurance is usually purchased separately from an outside party from the USPS. I base my shipping on current USPS prices. Oversized packages can be subject to a surcharge by the USPS. I'm happy to combine items to save on shipping costs.
Please do not return it. Items are insured through either the USPS or a third party. Simply save all packing materials and the item and contact me immediately for instructions. It's rare that a claim is necessary, but it does happen from time to time and can be a relatively simple and quick process to get your investment refunded.
Yes, I ship all over the globe. Please note that you may be charged customs fees in your country which are beyond my control. Shipping rates are based on first class mail with upgrades available upon request. The shipping fees stated includes insurance, which is required and generally adds about $2 per $100 of coverage to the shipping total.
