Description

These 4 fruit or berry bowl are vintage china in the Empress pattern by Aladdin Fine china which was made in Occupied Japan. Being stamped Occupied Japan dates them between 1945 and 1952.

They are fine, translucent bone china with a thin gold edge.

The center of each bowl is white, the verge ivory, and there is a dainty floral pattern in soft shades of rose and blue around the edge – a very typical design for Japanese china of that era.

They are in excellent condition for their age EXCEPT one bowl has a TINY chip on the edge – actually I didn’t even notice it until it showed up in the photo. (see photo 5)

They are 5 ¾ inches across and 1 ¼ inch high.

These dainty bowls would be perfect for your next tea party, bridal shower, or ladies luncheon.
