Description

Original "Mai Tai Killa" Tiki Sculpture

This is the original "Mai Tai Killa" sculpt from 09'. It was on display at the "California Screamin' 4" show at Gasoline Gallery in El Segundo Ca. (May 9 - June 20) . It was also featured in the show coverage article of BURNOUT MAGAZINE #40 ( page 14 ).

I made this sculpture back in 09' for the gallery show. At the time I was combining my love of Car Kulture and Tiki.....hence the flamed detail. This is still one of my favorites but Im offering it for sale.

The color is a modled red with dark wash and verigated gold leaf on the flames and one tooth. This is a hollow cast made of fiberglass and polyester resin with a wooden back that has been painted and signed.

This is a large item.....just under 19 inches tall.

NOTE: most of the photos were taken while the sculpture was on a metal disply. This display is not included. The sculpture is made to display hanging on a wall. The display was used to help me photograph the work. Also the last 2 photos are of Burnout Magazine, the magazine is not included. Thank you.

I am willing to make a custom version if you like, just contact me.
