The embroidery designs ARE the complete doll dress pattern pieces, including seam allowance and embellishments. You select the fabric and the threads to stitch out your customized dress pieces.

Cut out along the cutting line that was stitched as color 1 of your embroidery design. Then sew the pieces together with a standard sewing machine. Some pieces are sewn "In the Hoop" whenever possible. Assorted sleeve and neckline styles to create many different dresses. Add ribbons and other embellishments as desired.

Fun project to do with kids, let them be the designer. They choose the fabric, choose the thread and cut it out and/or sew it together. 2 and 3 year olds love picking the fabric and thread. As they get older they can cut out the pieces and then learn to sew it together. The clothes mean so much more to them when they are a part of the design process.
