Description

This is an awesome pair of 50's cat eyeglasses made by Zylite. This is a really cool design. The lens is 44 mm and the bridge is marked 20mm. The temples are marked 5 1/2 alum. 1/10 12 Karat Gold Filled. The nose pieces are in good condition and are comfortable to wear. They are to big for my face and are 5 inches from point to point front of frame. The lens if 44 mm wide and about 36 mm tall not including the frame. They are a small medium to medium size frame. The lenses need to be replaced to have your prescription put in them. They are bifocals. There are signs of wear. There is a nick in the front of the frame on the left side above the nose piece on the black part of the frame. I just noticed it so it is not a major flaw. There is some of the black enamel that is wearing down on the top of the front of the frame but not on the face of the frame. The ear pieces are color fading but nothing damaged on them just normal wear. The stems will need to be adjusted and the nose pieces are in good shape. The quality of metal frames has certainly held up over time. I just love vintage eyewear! Please feel free to ask any questions.
