Description

Simple but stunning. This clock is to be wall mounted and is made from light Ash in such a way that the beautiful grain really shows through.
The clock face is very clear with easy to read numbers with ornate hands and a third seconds hand. The face has a brass surround. Quartz movement, takes an AA battery (not provided)
The clock face is mounted on a turned surround.
It is 15 cm diameter

All pieces are handmade in our home workshop in Ceredigion, Wales. We use traditional methods and techniques for most operations but occasionally, for detailed designs or where accuracy is paramount, we employ technology to help us. We also mix our own lacquers, oils and waxes.

We use locally sourced and salvaged materials, particularly wood and slate, where we can. Our own garden and the fields owned by our farming neighbours are also a bountiful source of supplies. Many of the items in the shop originated from our log pile. Sometimes, when appropriate, materials, i.e. clock movements, glass, brass, aluminium, etc. are bought in from external suppliers.

Keep an eye on our blog where we provide more details of how we do things here at Time4Light.
