Description

Beautiful origami earings. Each crane is created from a 1.5" piece of cardstock. Earring hangs 2" from a silver wire with seed beads.

Paper crane is finished with a clear moisture resistant protectant.

Earrings are sent on card stock in a gift box.

* I do not recommend coming in contact with moisture as it may still damage the paper.

Please contact me if you'd like them in a different color.

Origami was invented in China around 100AD. The word origami simply means "paper folding".

As in many societies, paper was a luxury item, created by hand and used only for important, long lasting purposes.

The crane symbolizes honor, luck and loyalty.

From its inception, origami has held an honored place in ceremonies that were of great importance. Origami was used at births, weddings, and funerals to help commemorate the occasion in a unique, hand-crafted manner. The origami figures would be treasured by participants for years afterwards.

Let me help you create a memorable, unique and fun wedding, event or gift!

FAQs

I will communicate with you to create an item(s) that you are requesting. Due to the work put into each item, I can not accept returns.
Origami is made from paper. I use several different thicknesses depending on the item. Although many items are finished with a moisture resistant product, I never recommend having the item come in contact with moisture.
