This listing is for client photos of their favors and party gifts from our silk screen stencils. These are some examples of what can be accomplished with reusable silks screen and one-use vinyl stencils when the instructions are followed, beta tests are conducted, and assistance is requested when difficulties arise.

1️⃣ CREATING FAVORS USING STENCILS 1️⃣

Etching with silk screen stencils can have a learning curve for some, which is why we suggest each client conduct beta tests to get practice using both the dry and/or wet application methods.

Practice, practice, practice using a couple of test products ^_^. We suggest testing alternate application methods as it allows each user to discovery what works best for their skill set with the products being used. While the PDF instructions and videos are very detailed, and provided as a bonus resource to our clients, they are in no way a one method fits all framework.

2️⃣ HOW DOES GLASS ETCHING CREAM WORK? 2️⃣

Glass etching cream is a consumer-based acid that removes the topcoat of a glass product to create an etching of a design.

Some products like Pyrex cookware, wine bottles and some mason jars have a very thick topcoat which prevent the acid from creating an etching -- the coating is too thick for the cream to impact it. Before making a large quantity purchase, we strongly suggest conducting test etching on product to make sure the topcoat is not too thick.

Most standard drinkware glasses and mirrors sold in retail stores and online shops have a light topcoat which is suitable for glass etching. However, we strongly suggest conducting beta tests with the product(s) you intend on using.

3️⃣ FINE PRINT 3️⃣

With do-it-yourself (”DIY”) projects, some customers and clients will produce better results than others. In most cases, results will depend on the variables for a project -- environment, product, materials and user skill set. It is the responsibility of each client/customer to test and practice, and practice and test, to develop a technique and method that works best for your project.

Whether your creating 1 or 200+ products with glass etching cream or paint, we strongly suggest you conduct your due diligence prior to undertaking this type of DIY task. Read our FAQs, read our instructions, watch our video, and read other online posts about silk screen stencils.

4️⃣ DO DUE DILIGENCE 4️⃣

If you will be using glass etching cream, don't forget to test the product you intend on using.
