Description

This is a most interesting sterling silver cuff bracelet. It was artisan crafted in Taxco Mexico sometime in the 1970's. It is signed by the silversmith, Lucho.

The design is Native American with exquisite hand stamping. The stamping is traditional, it is an abstract representation of the sky incorporating clouds, suns and flocks of birds traveling south. It is very elemental work. The shape of this cuff is quite beautiful for it falls just over the wrist on to the hand. Altogether, a magnificent Native American presentation.

The bracelet fits medium to large wrists, it measures 6" on the interior and has a 1" gap. It also has a nice solid quality but is somewhat adjustable. It is signed MEX925, Tx-139.

Lucho-
After moments of research on the internet, I found the name Lucho connected to TELLEROS De LOS BALLESTEROS. This was a very famous Mexican silver design house. The work created by Los Ballesteros is highly sought after and highly collectible.
It is the internet...I could not find definitive information connecting Lucho to this design house so I'm going to say this artisan requires further research.

Please review the photos carefully and email with any questions you may have prior to making a purchase.
