Cthulhu is a scary wee beasty. when i started making him he seemed quite cheerful but slowly his personality revealed itself and left me a little scared...

he is a solar powered bugbot, he has a small vibrating motor attached to a solar engine and solar cell. he soaks up light till he has enough stored up in his capacitor to run a short burst from the motor. when this happens he wobbles ominously on his many spindly legs.

in bright sunshine he leaps about all over the place and will dive floorward unless he is placed on some kind of lipped tray.

under indoor lighting his true evil is revealed... he stores up energy more slowly and when you least expect it off he wiggles making you jump out of your skin.

spooky little bugger!

edit: in this incarnation i will adjusted the wiggle so that he's not as bouncy as before so will now stay put and wave his arms in a more subtle way rather that try to leap to his doom as with older models. he is now desk safe :)
