Description

This is a folding knife I designed last year, it is a wicked sharp S90V blade, hardened to Rockwell 60 for excellent edge retention. The sand blasted finish of the blade will resist some scratching, and gives a nice contrast to the satin finished flats of the blade. The CPMS90V blade has a higher vanadium content than other steels, which is converted to vanadium carbides, which leaves the chromium in the steel available for rust prevention, or at least that's what I've been lead to believe. All the fittings on this knife, being the pivot pin, and screws, are stainless steel as well.

All of the handle pieces are made of 4al6v titanium, which thanks to people like Michael Walker has become a standard in custom knife making. I have anodized the handle pieces green, the back spacer grey, and the pocket clip, to give some flash, has been anodized pink, blue and purple. I have been having a hard time trying to let this knife go, but I can't keep every knife I make to myself!

The blade is the inches long, and razor sharp. Overall the knife is about nine inches long open, and four and a half inches when closed. The knife weighs in at five ounces. The action is velvety smooth, thanks to the ball bearings in the pivot, and firmly locks open with zero rocking. There is absolutely no play in the blade side to side, a fantastically solid lock!
