Description

We find this one of the most beautiful handcast and detailed items our mystical smith has forged. We upcycle high quality steel and he works his magik with ancient molds based on archaeological finds and records, meticulously made to capture the detail. This one has that balanc of fine detail and that rustic, Viking quality, the back is exquisite while the front shows the classic serpentine and spirals denoting the wyrdful warp and weave of a life of destiny, ancestral roots and heroics. These are genuine talismans, forged and cast with intent in a heritage of folk magik, artisan metal-smithing, and traditional skills that culminate in our project of bringing back lost ancestral arts. Your purchase enables us to invest in more wild-crafted ethically harvested herbs, which supplies an income to native intergenerational herbalists from Thule and Hyperborean lineages of Iceland, Sweden, Germany, and into the might Rus of Russia, the Slavs, the Celts, all these noble clans and tribes, each unique, yet each but a branch on a common tree of gods, language and culture.

We honestly believe that most of the conflict in the world goes back to the uprooted identity crises of all peoples, severed from their ancestors, their ancient medicines and foods by an oblivious convergence of globalism and modernism. The modern template of this was first used against our pagan ancestors, monk's came in and cut down sacred groves and built their churches on the temples. Even in urban areas of Empires, the last of the mystery traditions were destroyed such as with the rape and murder of Hypatia by Coptic monks. Donar's Oak, Thor's Oak, the destruction continued, but the pagan traditions lingered in the remote Northern areas, preserving the lore and ways. The healing of our own psyche and folk soul begins in the cessation of appropriating other's cultures and learning and embracing our own, breathing life into our traditions and learning of the heroic honor and legacy that all ancients peoples encoded for their heirs. We take our mission seriously, we support a network of harvester's, artists, farmer's, herbalists and woodsman who live and breath the old ways. We are excited to keep bringing you new items, and we thank all our customers and the positive reviews. We include a free patch from a kindred in Ukraine who is making our flags and patches for us. More to come! All our pendants are strung on buckskin leather, from managed ethical forestry groups in Sweden.

I'm very happy with my purchase. The hammer itself is without a blemish and there is a noticeable weight to it, as there should be in my opinion. The elk leather cord is naturally striking and gives the overall aesthetic a more authentic feel. For the pendant alone, the cost was beyond worth it but the seller also included not one but two patches, one of which being advertised and the other, a small wolf's head, seemingly as a bonus. This pleasant surprise would merit the seller a sixth star if that were at all possible. I'll gladly do business again with them in the future. Forn siðr!

Super fast shipping and a great product. The scent is perfect, like stepping into a forest. Seller also included complimentary charcoal for burning incense, a fabric valknut, and a mjolnir pendant. Will definitely buy from Asatru Apothecary again!
