Description

Set of three nice, thick little handpainted butter pat or roll plates, circa 1960s-70s.

These are likely from Mexico, and are heavy, sturdy diner china with a deep inset dish shape, and tiny hand painted flower details around the rims. They are nice for butter pats, dinner rolls, a few m&ms, you name it. Backgrounds are slightly speckled, with rough, slightly bubbly casual glaze and paint touches. Very cottage-y or primitive look.

All are in good shape with very minor wear or use, though there is an infinitesimal chip on the bottom rim of the larger of the two, and one of the smaller ones has a manufacturing split in the dish section that is glazed in. The other small one has a few small faint, tannish splotches in the glaze on the front.

The larger dish measures approximately 5 5/8" in diameter, and the two smaller ones about 4 5/8" in diameter. They are about an inch tall.
