Simplicity 1912: Use this 1940s vintage sewing pattern for misses to sew a fetching frock that uses trompe l'oeil to make you think you have a sweet ruffled peplum! ;D

The dress features a softly fitted bodice, with tucks at front waistline, dart-fitting at back waistline, A-neckline, drop shoulders, and a row of beading and ruffled embroidered eyelet at base of the neckline that extends to sides (creating a mock yoke). The 3-gore skirt is gathered to waistline, trimmed with beading and ruffled embroidered eyelet that curves from center back waistline, down the sides and curving across the front skirt to create a mock peplum. Dress has side zipper closing and a fitted belt with sash ties that tie in back. Your choice to accent corners of neckline with fixed ribbon bows.

Wonderful style from 1946!
