Description

This skirt typifies a number of features found on some skirts from the 1970s. First we have the 'grown on' waistband where the waistband is actually inside the top of the skirt with nothing visible on the outside. Also we see the use of what were known as 'disappearing pleats'. This is where the pleats stop short of the top of the skirt and blend into the fabric without stitching or a separate basque etc. See the images if this is not clear.

I rather like this colour whioch is a nice plain salmon pink. The pleats are moderately full and the skirt readily fits into todays fashions. Just a zip fastening at the left hip.

Whilst the label claims to be a UK size 12, the tiny waist is only 24" whichj is a 6 by todays standards. 25" from waist to hem.

It is usually (but not always) possible to combine items for posting for no extra cost. As this varies from item to item, please ask and I'll see what price it will be for more than one specific items.
