One seed packet filled with organic, open pollinated, heirloom seeds grown and collected by hand on our small scale farm. A beautiful and loving gift for both expert and aspiring gardeners, as well as a creative, environmentally conscious alternative to conventional seed.

{catnip}
Nepeta cataria
50+ seeds

{about}
We don’t have cats but our neighbors do. Jack the Cat works hard for us day in and day out chasing the field mice and keeping them out of the gardens. The least I can do is grow him bushy catnip plants as payment for all of his hard work.

Catnip attracts beneficial insects to your garden including honey bees, butterflies and other pollinators and is reported to be a mosquito repellent if you crush the leaves and rub them on your skin. It also makes a fine tea!

{special note}
Tiny catnip seeds will arrive still tucked in their flower bracts and contain a strong catnip scent. Keep this seed packet out of reach of curious cats! In order for these seeds to germinate more quickly seeds should be removed from the bracts by crumbling them between your fingers to allow the seeds to fall free of the bracts.
