Description

This "Mug Club Part 2" foundational paper piecing pattern PDF is the perfect companion to the Mug Club Part 1. (Part 1 was created by my sister @kidgiddy. Her set can be purchased here - http://etsy.me/2uwHXVX - and does not come with this Part 2 set).

The "Mug Club Part 2" will come as two separate files. One file includes all 6 quilt blocks and bonus pieces that each measure 6.5 x 6.5" unfinished (6" x 6" finished if used as a quilt block or in another project using 1/4" seam allowance), while the second file includes the same 6 blocks and bonus pieces measuring 10.5" x 10.5" unfinished (10" x 10" finished). You can easily decrease or increase the size with most computers or printers. I wouldn't recommend going much smaller though than the 6" block as some of the pieces are already tiny.

The "Mug Club Part 2" includes 6 different blocks with varying levels (and bonus pieces to create a Teapot, Cookie Jar, and Sugar Bowl with lid!!😍):

☕️ Level 1 - Chinatown Mug (this is by far the most basic/easiest in the set)
☕️ Level 1 - SoHo Mug
☕️ Level 1 - Boston Mug (simple teacup)
☕️ Level 2 - Greenport Mug
☕️ Level 3 - England Mug (detailed teacup)
☕️ Level 4 - Hartford Mug (this has the most sections)
☕️🍪 Level 3 & 4 - (Bonus Teapot, Cookie Jar and Sugar Bowl)

Supplies you'll need:
6" Blocks - Fabric A (for mug): 1-2 5" charm squares (may require 3 if cutting large or for fussy cutting)
6" Blocks - Fabric B (for background): less than 1 fat eighth

10" Blocks - Fabric A (for mug): 1-2 10" squares (may require 3 if cutting large or for fussy cutting)
10" Blocks - Fabric B (for background): less than 1 fat quarter

Patterns and tips, plus instructions for assembling sections together are included in the PDF. Basic paper piecing instructions are included as a courtesy, please do not rely on them solely if you have never paper pieced. Experience with foundational paper piecing and standard sewing supplies are needed to complete these quilt blocks. (A quick search online or YouTube will pull up a great selection of helpful tutorials if you're just getting started learning paper piecing!). It does not include measurements or instructions for a finished project or quilt. You will not receive a printed copy of this pattern. The pattern will come as a digital file via email (the same email you use to place your order), and sent automatically via Etsy. You will need a printer to print the patterns in the PDF in order to sew the blocks. Some pages are Black & White/Grayscale with a little color while many have color photographs. If you need to print the pages and want to avoid printing in color, set your printer to grayscale. A PDF reader is needed for this pattern. If you do not have one, Adobe Reader is available online, usually for free.

I would love to see your creations using these patterns - please feel free to share pictures via social media by tagging me @mossandlotus on Instagram. Use any of the following hashtags: #MossAndLotusMug, #TheMugClub, #MyMugClub and #mossandlotuspaperpiecing as well.
