Description

This dress pattern comes from "Minerva Style Book, Volume 36."
Published by James Lees & Sons Company, Copyright, 1934.

Pattern includes instructions for the blouse, belt, and skirt shown. All three are knitted with basic crochet finishing.

This pattern is a vintage size 16, which is characterized by approximately the following measurements:
Bust: 35"
Waist: 29"
Hip: 38"

The pattern will be delivered as a .pdf file to your inbox.

Tools and Supplies Recommended:
1 Pair No. 2 Steel Knitting Needles (12 inch)
1 No. 2 Steel Circular Knitting Needle (29 inch)
1 No. 2 Steel Crochet Hook
16-17 Large Vintage Buttons
2500 yards Minerva Dusteen yarn in white (discontinued)

This pattern is in the public domain, so please feel free to sell anything you make from the pattern.

This pattern is a reproduction of an original Columbia-Minerva design. I scan in all of the photographs from the original pattern book, and then construct a .pdf document by inserting the original photos and then retyping the pattern. This allows me to make a clearer, easier to read product for my customers. I just hate patterns where the font is tiny and scrunched together, where I lose my place and have to squint to read. You won’t find that here! My .pdf files are made with large, simple fonts that are still aesthetically pleasing to look at but won’t give you a headache!

As always, let me know if you have any questions. Satisfaction is guaranteed, and I will have the pattern mailed or emailed within 24 hours.

Shipping policies

For electronic patterns sent via email, you will need an updated version of Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print your pattern.

I am in the process of converting all PDF patterns to "instant download". If you see "1PDF Included" just below the "add to cart", or "instant download" superimposed over the photograph in the upper left-hand corner, know that an email will automatically be sent to the email address you use at checkout. *If you would like a printed copy of the pattern mailed to you, leave a note in the "Notes" section while you are checking out. I will do my best to mail you a hard copy of the pattern the next day.

For copies that are not set up for instant download yet, I will do my best to email out your order within 24 hours. Again, leave a note in the "Notes" section at checkout if you would prefer that I mail you a hard copy.

For emailed copies, please be sure to double-check your email address during the checkout process. If you experience an email delivery delay that is greater than 24 hours, please alert me, as there may be an issue with the email (or, I am human... I may have accidentally forgotten!).

For all other media (originals, and printed copies), I mail packages daily Monday through Friday via USPS. For US customers, please alert me if your package has not arrived within one week!

**Please pay attention to any vacation announcements on the main page of my shop! I cannot process orders when I am out of town, and the announcement will indicate when I will return and when you should be expecting your order!!

Additional policies

I love to hear feedback on my products (good and bad), because I am continually searching for ways to improve my products and services. If you have any ideas for me, let me know!

All of my reproduced works are in the public domain, therefore you have every right to sell your finished products anywhere you please.

You do NOT have permission to distribute or sell my reproduced patterns. If you would like multiple copies of a pattern, e.g., for a knitting group, please message me for a steeply discounted rate for additional copies.

I have some originals for sale that are still under copyright protection. This means that I do not have the authority to grant permission for the sale of finished works. I have clearly indicated in each listing which books these are- please abide by international copyright laws. Do not sell finished works from patterns still under copyright without express permission from the copyright owner!
