these are not your grandmother's aprons! but they could be and they would be pretty happy with that!
these aprons have recently become an obsession and love of mine and i secretly want every kitchen to have one of my aprons in it.
all sewing, designing, screen printing, graphic design, etc is done by me (on occasion i wrangled my little brother into some ironing!)
i do my best to reinforce edges and seams and create an apron that will hold up to many washings and loaves of bread or pots of spaghetti sauce. i want them to be loved and used! i use a fabric ink that is heat set for all the screen printing.
my fabrics are a mix of vintage pillowcases and sheets along with all sorts of new cottons that i find at the store. i've never made the exact same apron twice- i like them to be different!

this is a pretty barbecue apron for someone who doesn't want a vintage/girly apron! but it was made from an awesome vintage sheet that has pink cabbage roses on top of a plaid pattern that's pink and blue. the backing fabric i used is just plain blue. to offset the fabric i decided this one needed a big butcher knife on it!
