This is the Donar Weave-It 4” loom. The Donar company patented this new loom configuration, with groups of 3 pins, in 1935. Over the years, it was produced with other manufacturers’ names, such as Hero. It was also made in plastic and in bakelite. This one has the original blue-stamped Donar information, faint but definite:

U.S. Pat. No. 2,011,916
Canadian Pat. No. 358,058
Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.
Mfd. by Donar Prods. Corp.
Medford, Mass. U.S.A.

total width: 4 1/2" square (11.5 cm)
pin area width: 4" (10 cm)
height: 1 1/8" (3 cm)

This listing is for the one darker loom pictured, only. The pins are all present and fairly straight. We have not tried to clean between them, or smooth any of the rough spots from them.

We had a complete Donar kit at one time, including the instruction sheet. Although we sold that set, we will include a photocopy of those directions. It is an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet. One side has "Directions for Using the Weave-It". The other gives "Directions for Making Diagonal Weave". Manufacturer info printed on it is Donar Products Corporation, 751 Main Street, Winchester, Mass.

Please convo us for multiple or international shipping. If you are in the U.S., send your zip code.

We will be listing the other, lighter wood loom shortly. It's fun taking pictures of them together - all those pins and shadows!

Stored in a non-smoking home. A cat lives here. Thanks for looking, and Shop Etsy!
