Posters made for the Oregon eclipse gathering held August 17th-23rd 2017 at Big Summit Prairie to celebrate the total solar eclipse. Art for a very special event~ represents Sigmund Freud's theory of the human psyche~ the id, super ego and ego which mediates the two. The eclipse, happened August 21st was in Leo and so was Mars which you can see above the Leo constellation & astrological symbol, while the phases of the moon hang above Oregon mountains and pine trees. This eclipse calls for us to tune back into our true selves, quiet the id and bring realistic intention to our super ego.
