Description

This cuff, along with approximately 4 more Aldrich Art pieces came from a very influential Santa Fe collector, who kept these jewelry pieces locked up,until asking me to sell them..I hope you enjoy them! (Will be posting the rest asap,so please check back.)

THE 'ALDRICH'S"
If you've ever shopped at the more 'higher end' southwest stores, you may know the work of the 'Aldrich's".. The Aldrich's consist of husband & wife duo"Valerie & Benny" & are based out of Durango Co. Their work is highly identifiable & if you can appreciate what artists go through, not only with time spent creating, but working & inlaying the tiniest stones, then you can't help but appreciate & love this duo's jewelry! The only other work that can be close, when it comes to meticulous workmanship,as well as working with the smallest of stones,is the work of the Zuni Pueblo people..
Their jewelry is 'pure art'!

They are known for pairing stones known to the SW, like turquoise, spiny oyster, coral, but with added semi precious & precious stones together..They have a style that is only unique to them & have a very identifiable look..They are known for their spectacular & very precise mosaic inlay work..They cut each & every, everything by hand & are extremely skilled at what they do..

The jewelry they create,is flawless & very upscale & because of the gem quality materials used & the time it takes, their jewelry brings in top dollar no matter where it is sold.

DESCRIPTION:
This cuff is displayed with a center oval shape of the most vibrant Sleeping Beauty turquoise, that is remarkably mosiac'd inlaid with a center box of the skinniest cuts of rare purple Sugilite strips & 'REAL' Australian Opal,(Not the man made stuff'!!).These act as the stones surrounding the inner diamond shape center of Spiny Oyster & Gaspeite..The latter is so small, that it's hard to see & you can't help but give appreciation for their work!

Outside the center sits a trillion cut of purple Sugilite on each side(Sorry, but can tend to look like Lapis in photos!) that then leads you to the non-faceted green Peridot & finally Sleeping Beauty turquoise.
All the stones sit in a serrated bezel & all the 'teeth' are in perfect shape. The sterling shank has a more ornate look to it.

This is for a tiny wrist(Measurements Below) & I know how hard this size is to come across, although with know how & care, the sterling is not too thick of gauge to where it can't be adjusted by a reputable jeweler, who can open the gap up more. This will also fit a younger girl!

HOW TO FIT A CUFF
The best way to get a good fit is to measure a cuff bracelet you already have that fits you well. The total inside circumference is the inside circumference of the bracelet from end to end plus the gap (the distance between the ends)If you don't have a cuff bracelet , then measure your wrist where you want to wear the bracelet. Cut a strip of paper approximately 8" long and as wide as the bracelet you would like to wear. Wrap the paper around your wrist where you would wear the bracelet. You might secure the paper with a piece of tape to get a better feel of the fit. Remove the paper and measure from the end to the mark for the circumference of your wrist.

EXAMPLE: If the inside Circumference end to end is 5" and the Gap is 1", the total inside Circumference would be 6" and would be suitable for a wrist approximately 5 3/4" to 6 1/4" depending on how tight or loose you like to wear your bracelets..Remember the interior does not change, but the gap can be adjusted, either by yourself or your jeweler, depending on the thickness of the gauge.

****The thickness of the fleshy part (above your wrist) is equally as important as to whether a cuff fits properly & even though the cuff could fit your wrist,if the gap is too small or too large, can make a huge difference in the cuff fitting*****

A cuff should not 'roll' around on your wrist(Too loose),nor should you see flesh hanging over the edge(Too tight) Always put the cuff on above the wrist bone where it is fleshy, then bring it down to wrist. And NEVER "squeeze" to tighten!! You will lose the integrity of the metal & if there are stones, they can loosen..Rather,turn your wrist over, push down on one end at the terminal, push down on the other at the terminal..Go easy,if the gauge is lighter..

Returns and exchange details

**HOLIDAY SHOPPERS**
I understand it is hard trying to shop for someone else! If the item is not right for the person, please send it back by Jan.1 for a full refund. The item has to come back in the same condition as when it was sent, with no alterations. Please contact me,so I know what is happening.Buyer pays return shipping.

ALL OTHER SALES:
Please go over all photos, description, weights, measurements & ask any questions before purchasing to avoid a return! I do not allow returns based on "BUYERS REMORSE".(too heavy, too light, too big,too small, I went over budget, for example) This why it is important that you read over all the info(Weights/Measurements) to make sure you can wear any of my items.I am very good about giving all the info you need about the piece,so please go over this before buying.
To get a accurate idea of how big the item is,please pull out a tape measure & compare to my given measurements..I do not send out defective pieces & all items are sent out in good working condition, however, sometimes unforeseen things can happen afterward. In theses situations, then of course I am happy to accept a return if the item is defective(stone fell out, post of earring broke, etc) & will accept the item up to 30 days. Please include a photo.

There will be no restocking fee for an an exchange of equal value or greater. For any money back situations, there is a 15% restocking fee. Buyer pays return shipping.

To give you close ups, pictures tend to look much more larger & much more magnified than in actuality.Close up's make the item look so large & then you get them in hand & you are shocked since the item is much smaller than imagined..Also,things you'll see in photos that look highly noticeable, are generally not in person, since everything is much more magnified in photos..

**I am not a professional photographer & I do try to do my very best at giving you accuracy in color..Sometimes colors can vary on the computer/mobile phone & can either look more vibrant, lighter or darker, depending on settings, either on your end or mine..So please go through all photos,to see any variation..I can only call a color how I know it to be,you may call it something else.**
I am easy to work with & want to see you happy & satisfied,so all I ask is that you contact me so I know what's going on.

Shipping policies
