Weighing in at about 8.5 lbs this vintage Bräzeli iron is built to last a lifetime. It was made by Jura in Switzerland probably in the 1970's. It is 110 volts AC and very heavy duty. The power cord is removable with a sturdy plug on the side of the unit for easy cleaning. The inside surfaces have a non-stick coating that is not scratched or worn. There is a removable drip tray in the back of the machine to catch spills. The exterior paint is in very good condition with only a few minor scuffs and a 1/4 inch scratch. It functions perfectly. It makes a 6.25" x 6.25" four panel cookie.

"Bräzeli are the traditional Swiss cookie, no holiday table should be without them. You can also enjoy Bräzeli year ‘round. They are delicious any time of the year as traditional cookies, for custard-filled summer treats, or for whatever you choose to create!"

These irons are not common here in the U.S. and the few that are available online are incredibly expensive.
