Description

The colors and reactions in this pendant are so excellent! The cloud opal and the cyan blue reacted because of the copper in the cyan. You will also see a reaction around the small bits of fine silver foil which reacts with the colors as well. I almost always add a few bits of dichroic frit because I think it adds some sparkle. This piece has a double silver bail which makes it hang very nicely on a chain. It measures 1-3/4" long including the bail and 1-3/4" wide. A 20" silver chain is included. If you would like a different length, please let me know.

My glass art and jewelry are fused in a kiln to approximately 1480 degrees, and then fired a second or third time to achieve the detail I'm looking for. The final firing is called a fire polish which gives the glass a smooth, shiny finish all around.

I do my best to accurately photograph my work so you will be happy with your purchase. Dichroic glass changes colors with different lighting and different angles, therefore making it difficult to photograph. You must see my glass jewelry in hand to appreciate the color and depth of each piece. You won't be disappointed!

All of my jewelry comes shipped in a velvet drawstring bag.

If you have any questions or comments, I would love to hear from you. Please don't hesitate to send me a message.
