Beautiful, floral, decorative vintage cake plate with handles, featuring a white background covered with small purple and blue flowers, leaves and swirls.
This plate was made by Spencer Stevenson and Co in England.
Dating from approximately the 1950's the gold gilding to the edge and handles of the plate has worn quite a bit, but the floral decoration really distracts from this.
The pattern was probably partly transfer printed and finished off by hand.
It measures approx 25 cm in diameter.
A delightful plate ready for some cupcakes and a pot of tea!
