I have a secret.

I haven’t told many people about it yet, because it's sort of embarrassing.

Before opening the Etsy shop that would fund my travel, wedding, and impulse purchases, and before I became an online marketing pro earning a minimum of $10,000/month online, I failed.

I started an Etsy shop in 2008 that was a complete flop.

I made a few pieces of jewelry, took photos of them, and started my shop. But much to my dismay…

My shop was a ghost town. I had no traffic, no favorites, and -- you guessed it -- no sales.

Yup, Every new Etsy seller’s worst nightmare. So what was the issue?
