Description

The Sweet Spoon "Race for the Cure" holds a special place in my heart. My grandmother had breast cancer and ultimately had to have a mastectomy. During that time, there were not "causes" one could join and most people didn't talk about it much. My grandmother was a very strong influence in my life and she is the one who I closely identified with my sense of fashion. This Necklace represents Hope, Strength, Femininity and most importantly Action. No longer do we just need to sit around and not do something about cancer. We have the capacity and ability to take ACTION. The pink sneakers represent the action we need to take to do whatever we can to help cure cancer of all types!
