Details:
This 100% cotton rag paper from my classic cotton collection contains no pigments and is a natural bright white. It is soft, thick and bulky. It has natural, soft deckle edges on all four sides. Small threads dance across the surface, as evidence of the cotton fabric used to make each sheet individually by hand, in my studio in Kansas City, Missouri.

This paper is acid and chlorine free, and has been internally sized and buffered against future acidity, making it archival. This soft and bulky paper is best suited for printmaking techniques, especially where an embossment is desired. Perfect for letterpress, linocut, woodblock, and typewriters. Also works well for drawing with soft pencil, charcoal, soft pastel, or painting with acrylic, watercolor, and gouache. Not recommended for drawing or writing with sharp instruments, like a pointed pen or hard pencil, or repeated washing and scrubbing, as with some watercolor techniques. This size will run through most hand-fed inkjet printers well, but I am unable to guarantee it due to the variations in printers.

Beautiful product and lightning fast shipping. Used for pointed pen calligraphy project. Nice heavy weight and texture but still able to use light pad to see guidelines. I used a little hairspray on the paper to keep the nib from pulling up fibers and it worked great!!!
