Description

This rounded African Blackwood ring is a delicate example of a single hardwood piece whittled down to fit in a smooth minimalistic design. Each ring is made from reclaimed wood minimising wastage, as per our business ethos.
Each of the rings we make is made by hand in our design studio in the Highlands of Scotland.
We whittle each ring from reclaimed hardwood to your specified fit and design and each is finished to promote durability and comfort.

This specific design is called "Sam".
This design can be made from the other woods available in our studio, prices may vary.
Each ring sold comes with advice on the care of the ring.
Please choose the ring size and wood species when contacting Wild Garden Wood Art on purchase.
Any questions please get in touch.

Please note 10% of sales from our African Blackwood rings goes to African Blackwood Conservation Project based in Tanzania.
This grassroots foundation works around Mount Kilimanjaro and aims to reduce the impact of over harvesting of African Blackwood, by replanting African Blackwood trees, and promoting conservation education. It also works with adult and women's groups in the promotion of environmentally sound land uses. African Blackwood, known as Mpingo, has seen extinction in parts of Africa due to unsustainable harvesting with poor or absent conservation planning.
