A print of my original painting "Colonization: Rivers" (from a limited edition of 30).

The original was painted in layers of watercolor, ink, and gouache on a page from a vintage science book. This piece is part of my "Colonization" series in which topographical images develop out of unlikely surfaces, like little worlds growing in unexpected places. It's currently on display in a local gallery, but I have prints available here.

(Also, you may notice that the text on this piece is upside down -- that's the intended orientation for this one, no need to turn it over.)

This art print was printed with high-quality pigmented archival inks (Epson UltraChrome) on acid-free fine art rag paper. The image size is approximately 6" x 9" and the paper size is 8 1/2" x 11". It comes in a clear plastic sleeve with a stiff backing board.

Returns & exchanges

I will replace prints and cards damaged in shipping at no extra charge, if you can send me a picture of the damaged item. If an original painting is damaged (oh no!), please return it and I'll give you a full refund.

I will also accept returns for a refund or exchange (not including shipping) if you just decide something isn't the right fit for you, as long as the item is returned in its original condition within 30 days.

Shipping policies

Prints are shipped in rigid flat mailers with extra cardboard reinforcement to stay flat. Note card sets are shipped in bubble envelopes (to avoid waste and keep them out of landfills, I reuse ones that are still clean and usable). Unframed originals on paper will also ship in flat mailers; framed originals and originals on canvas/panel are wrapped and boxed.

I ship via USPS and insure shipments that include originals or are over $100 in value. I also refund excess shipping charges if the actual cost is significantly less than what I charged.

International buyers are responsible for taxes, fees, duties, etc. that might occur upon arrival.

Everything comes from a non-smoking household. I have two cats, but I try to make sure no fur hitches a ride in the packages.
