Description

Vincent Jefferds Harris (1916-1992). Jack the Ripper , 1980 - Original screenprint in 17 colors

Numbered 14 of 100, and signed "To Bob - Vince J"

The photos do no justice to the vibrant reds, pinks, and yellows used in this artwork. Colors are more vibrant in person.

Vincent Jefferds is a little known American artist and great friend of artist Richard Lindner. Jefferds was a self-taught artist whose career as an executive of Walt Disney Productions overshadowed his art. Jefferds developed his aesthetic and was influenced by his friend, Lindner, as well as other american painters from the 50s and 60s.

Mr. Jefferds Obituary contains more information about his life and works (also as an author): http://nyti.ms/2eKN0fw

The print is protected under glass (no chips or visible scratches) and professionally framed. The black frame is in good overall condition and backing is intact. This is a rare piece!

Dimensions: 32" tall x 20" wide framed (1.5" depth)

FAQs

Absolutely! In fact, we're happy to do so. Feel free to contact us prior to purchase and we can give you a better idea of what that combined shipping price might look like. As always, any overages more than $1 will be credited back to you asap.
We take great care to pack items carefully so that they arrive safely. Occasionally items can arrive broken/damaged. It is extremely important to let us know right away!

If your package has arrived damaged, please contact us within 7 days of the package arrival with the following information:
-Take & send pictures of the packaging exterior
-Take & send pictures of the internal contents and the breakage
-A detailed description of the damage
-Do not throw away your packaging or broken items. They may request to see it in person.

USPS accepts claims w/i a 30 day timeframe. This is why a little due diligence up front can be very helpful in the end!
We ship from Seattle Washington, and generally, are able to process and ship orders Monday through Thursday.
We try to process all orders as quickly and securely as possible. However, larger pieces of furniture require special attention to detail and therefore may take a few extra days to process. Generally speaking, we are able to process and ship within 5 business days.
We prefer Greyhound. This is almost always the most cost efficient way to send larger or very heavy items. This is a station to station shipment and we would need to know your closest greyhound bus location to arrange shipping. We include a base shipping fee in our listing but there may be an additional charge depending on the location the item is being shipped to and the weight/dimensions of the final package. We include an educated guess "base shipping fee", but this may not be the full shipping total. overages will be billed via paypal or venmo.

If you would like to arrange your own shipping or if you have questions about shipping, please email us prior to purchase.
This doesn't happen very often. We keep a close eye on tracking for all packages sent out and will contact you at the email provided if it seems to be taking too long.

Our shipping labels are printed via etsy exactly as the buyer has typed them. USPS allows 30 days from the date of shipment for a case to be filed via USPS.com. Please contact us and file a claim via usps as soon as possible.

Please note that Tiny Buffalo is not responsible for incorrect addresses provided or items lost in shipment. This is an issue that requires the buyer to follow up with USPS right away. We are happy to help provide proof of purchase or any other pertinent info that may be needed.
