Path Table or bench - "Packing time": Breton maritime atmosphere guaranteed!

"Bully"! This inquiry is very complimentary. But you know its meaning? "Packing" is once woven thick multiple strands, made with old rope, which we covered the masts, yards and capstan to protect from moisture and wear or be nailed on the bridge of the buildings carrying animals to prevent them from slipping under the effect of the roll. This "packing" was traditionally given to the captain on board during its first boarding passes. She served as her "mat" at the entrance of his cabin... and "doormat" aging as its owner and the other became "old go"!

This bow is full of history, it tells of long trips! Ideal as a table runner, made in "Manila hemp" for indoor use, this unusual packing is Brittany on your table!

And as the Mateloteur is meticulous and perfectionist, the binding is tight, finish is impeccably made underneath by splicing. With its lovely label that shows the quality of this product, this "packing" is a great maritime heritage!

This "packing" is also available in large (60/40) and it can effectively serve stairwell, bed or mat board. Discovered in the "shop"!

But even better, this "packing" also available in small size (20/30) and is a very nice "Flat bottom" effect. Discovered in the "shop"!

Length: 80 cm
Width: 30 cm
Cordage used: Manila
Used rope length = 35 meters
Diameter of the rope used = 10 mm

This is the most fantastic and unique nautical bracelet i have ever seen! Apparently according to Arnaud I am the first person from USA to get one, and i am beyond impressed by his artistry in nautical jewelry making, I loved it so much I ordered a second one in reverse colors! I wear them together and a lot of sailors ask me where I got them, while I am hesitant to keep this find all to myself I share my secret because they bring a smile to my face... always good to share happinesses in this difficult world. I will be posting photos soon, while I am at sea... to do them justice 🌊⚓️👩🏼‍✈️
Stay tuned... better yet, get one!
