This is an "Upcycled" 1976 200 YEARS of FREEDOM Bicentennial RED COVERED BRIDGE Linen Calendar Towel that I purchased a long time ago. After a little creative thinking, I decided to make a plastic grocery bag holder. The calendar towel colors are bright and vivid and there are a few nubbies in the linen from manufacturing. Although old, I knew that eventually I could re - purpose and create a new and unique item.

The bag is approximately 25 1/2 inches long from the top of the elastic opening to the bottom elastic opening X 7 3/4 inches wide across the front. The Red strap is 13 inches long X 1 inch wide. There is elastic at the top and bottom to load and unload plastic bags.

These make a great gift for a Bridal Shower, Birthday, or Housewarming.
