Description

This is a vintage mill from Peter Dienes. Peter Dienes founded the Pe De Dienes Company in Reimscheid, Germany in 1869. Mills productions ran until the year 1962. Peter Dienes was in his time considered the inventor of the best grinding system with its mechanism of ball named “Solida”.

I would assume that this mill was manufactured between 1930-1950 taking into consideration the logo (a triangle in brass with the head of a deer and a cross between its horns) and model number indicated on the base “610”.

This genuine “PE DE” coffee grinder is very well made of quality wood and has a solid grinding mechanism in forged steel. It still works perfectly and is in very good condition as it wasn't used that much. Still has a beautifully preserved polished beech wood body. Great piece for collection or daily small quantity bean grinding.

The grinder will be carefully packed and shipped from Belgium insured and with online tracking service.
