I originally ordered the Minolta Maxxum 7000 but they were unable to find a working one in shop. I was offered the Maxxum 5000 but declined. I was then offered the Maxxum 70 in which I accepted. Great communication with the seller. I received the camera and everything seems good except there is a yellow tint at the bottom left of the viewfinder. I used a roll of film and it’s off to get developed. I suggest messaging the seller to confirm they have the camera you want in stock before buying. I personally didn’t mind the camera change. I would look to buy here again. *****UPDATE***** I got my film back and the pictures came out BEAUTIFUL!

It is excellent and exactly what I needed for class. I just need to actually get to learn more about it to unleash full potential

I'm very happy with the camera. The camera and lens are pristine for being 50 years old. Very clean, with little signs of use. It works perfectly. Seals are solid. Two rolls in, and no light leaks. B&W photos with Ilford HP5 are sharp and balanced. Peter and I had some minor communication issues at the start, but those all worked out.

Hi Peter, Merry Christmas. I bought my first Pentax camera, a Spotmatic when I got my first job out of high school in 1966. That camera accompanied me everywhere, mostly in my cruise vest at work. Using Kodachrome film, my quality many times rivaled National Geographic. I was bereft when digital cameras took the market; then I found I could still get 35mm film and have it developed. I was ecstatic when I received the 200mm lens. I will be 75 years old in January, once again my camera goes where I go........Danny
