The study of grammar, word definitions and language has been a lifelong interest for me. When the poetry word magnet sets came out a few years ago and was all the rage, I bought a set for the refrigerator, thinking how creative I could be on the spur of the moment. I hand sculpted these stone wear magnets, carved a word onto each so that a sentence is formed when they are put together. They have been kiln fired twice and a strong magnet has been adhered to the back of each piece.

To be a little different, I made a sentence where the words could be switched around and still make sense in a new sentence.

Hence, the sentence,
“Stars sparkle at night”, became
“At night stars sparkle”, or
“Stars at night sparkle”, even
“Sparkle stars at night”.

WHICH SENTENCE IS CORRECT?

The words and the small little highlights are meticulously hand glazed and makes for a wonderful contrast in the final pieces.

This combination is the first in a series. They are a fun way for children to learn sentence structure and syntax and make a great conversation piece for your fridge. Original design and idea.

Set of 4 magnets.

Not for children under 3 years old.

Dimensions: each magnet is 1-1/2” square
