I PRESENT FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION THIS:

Outstanding Vintage SCOTTISH Sterling Silver Carved Roman Centurion HEMATITE Ring-By Magnus Maximus Design-EDINBURGH 1979-Uk S-Us 9 & 1/8

This is a lovely ring which is in beautiful Vintage condition - UK size "S" or US Size "9 & 1/8" - weighs 7.02 grams.

This wonderful ring is made of solid sterling silver and mounted with a large rounded rectangular Hematite. The Hematite is carved with the image of a Roman Soldier or Centurion is in excellent vintage condition, please look at the photos.

This lovely Ring is fully Hallmarked for Edinburgh 1979. It was made by a wonderful and well known Scottish Jewellery maker, Magnus Maximum Designs, Manufacturing Jewellers, Frisington, Cumbria.

* This gorgeous ring is made of solid Sterling Silver and has full English/Scottish Hallmarks inside the band.
* It is stamped with the makers mark "MMD." Magnus Maximum Design; The passant for Sterling Silver; The Castle for Edinburgh; Followed by the letter "E" corresponding to 1979 - You can see the hallmark in the last photo.
* This is a sensational ring with a large rounded rectangular Hematite set into the front of the ring. The Hematite is carved with the image of a Roman Soldier or Centurion. The Hematite alone measures approximately 13mm from top to bottom and approximately 11mm wide, a substantial size.
* The thickness of the band is very good, I cannot see any thinning. It is nice and round BUT not perfectly round. This does not effect the ring and it still sits comfortably on the finger and photographs beautifully.
* I believe the ring is a size US size "9 & 1/8" which is a UK size "S". Weighs 7.02 grams.
* The condition of the ring is excellent given it is vintage. There are a few barely visible marks to the silver and/or stones which you would expect from vintage jewellery, but they are not obvious.
* I believe this ring could be resized as the back of the band has no pattern on it. However this would need to be done by a Jeweller. I think they can go up 2-3 sizes and down 2-3 sizes, but you would definitely need to check for this ring as I am not a Jeweller. It often depends on the style of the ring, so please check with your jeweller.
• The ring will come in a lovely Gift Box.

THIS IS A FANTASTIC ORIGINAL ITEM. IT IS IN GREAT VINTAGE CONDITION AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PHOTOS.
I have described this item to the best of my ability and it will be sold as it is. The photos form part of my description so please look carefully. If you have any questions please email me and I will endeavour to answer them in a timely manner.
