FAQs

In travel slime sometimes changes consistency. Cold can make it hard and crunchy. If yours is crunchy, first try Letting it sit and get to room temperature for a bit. Check it in an hour. If it’s back to normal good. If it’s still crunchy, try adding a couple drops of hand lotion or baby oil and kneading it in. Never add a lot at a time. You can really wreck your slime if you add too much product. If these things don’t work try popping in the microwave for 15-30 seconds. CAUTION!! Ask for parents help. Put on microwave safe plate NOT IN TIN. And be careful when you take it out it will be very hot!! Let it sit for a couple minutes. Then follow lotion /oil steps. Also you can run it under or let it sit in hot water and work it back to soft
Slime changes in transit sometimes. Heat will make it melty and runny. We send our slimes on the sticky side too because it’s easier to fix sticky slime than crunchy slime. First, try putting your slime in the fridge for an hour. Take it out and knead it a bunch. Should be better. If it’s still too thin or sticky try adding a tiny tiny bit of the liquid starch we included in your pack. Just dip your finger in and rub a touch in and start kneading. If this doesn’t work, let it sit for a few minutes before you add more. The activator takes a few minutes to work. NEVER add too much because you can ruin your slime easily. You can also use a touch of liquid hand soap, lotion, baby oil or contact lens solution. Moderation & patience are key!
No. While the jury is still out on whether the tiny bit of Borax used to make slime is actually harmful, we err on the side of caution. Better safe than sorry.
We use school glue, white and clear, baking soda and liquid starch for our base product. We also use essential oils and scents to scent our slimes. We can also add glitters, mica powders, gems, beads, fake snow, gel beads, paint, pigments, ink. All kids of things. If you have allergies we can’t be sure this is safe so we suggest you don’t risk it!
