Description

Woof Woof. This cutie is a great example of an early reproduction of the Staffordshire Spaniel (1840-1860). He's not an original, but he is an early reproduction, probably from the 1920s or 30's.
There are a TON of people trying to pass off their dogs as Victorian era. Buy with caution. Seriously. the fakes look really good. Some makers would even use boot black to fake crazing marks.

Anyway, this guy is super handsome and in great condition for his age. He does have crazing and it's real. Like I said, he's old, but not THAT old and priced accordingly. Check the photos for yourself. The paint is done well with minimal fading. I'm sad he doesn't have a mate.

All sales are final. Opossums sell vintage/used items. Most of the items show some signs of wear. All major flaws are noted in the description or are visible in the photograph. If you have more questions, we are more than happy to send additional photos or descriptions.

If your item arrives damaged please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the item. Please keep the shipping label, box, and all interior packaging. You will need to send us photos of the damaged item along with the label, box and packaging. We are unable to file a damage claim without these photographs.
