This instantly downloadable PDF tutorial will show you how to create a beautiful and practical nap mat cover. The cover itself is machine washable and features an attached pillowcase, blanket, and strap/handle. The attached pillowcase can be flipped out beyond the mat, providing several extra inches of length. The extra wide blanket also extends beyond the mat, allowing your child to get snuggled in properly.

The pattern can be used to sew covers for Kindermats and other brand nap mats in the following sizes:

19" x 44/45" x 1" or 5/8"
19" x 44/45" x 2"
24" x 48" x 1"
24" x 48" x 2"

The tutorial contains many colorful photographs, diagrams, and charts to guide you through the process. It was written with intermediate sewers in mind. It assumes familiarity with or willingness to learn how to make and attach binding (helpful links are included for those still learning). Purchase of a pattern includes support by email, feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.

Optional instructions are included for sewing in a name embroidered on 2" cotton tape. If you do not embroider, you can purchase an embroidered name on tape from me, to be mailed to you for you to sew into your nap mat cover. See this listing to purchase a name:

This tutorial is for a very well made nap mat. Instructions were a little difficult to follow and I am still not sure if I made the strap part right. I made my top blanket a little differently but really enjoyed the finished product. Also, I wish I would have thought to make the blanket a little wider than suggested. It covers my son almost. I think 6 more inches of width would have been perfect.

The mat turned out amazing and is very well made, the only issue we had was with the strap instructions...I'm still not sure we did it the right way but it's fully functional and is adorable! I've gotten so many compliments for my sons!

The directions and illustrations in this pattern were very clear and easy to understand. I am very happy with the finished product and so is my grandson, since the nap mat was made for him.

This tutorial is awesome. I needed two covers and the thought of paying 200+ for them made me cringe. I found this tutorial and it was so Informative and detailed. If you can sew buy this to save money.
