Instructions were easy to follow and I love how the tree skirt turned out! It's a really big pattern so I removed the outside two tree strips and the finished skirt was still big. The individual tree triangles didn't fit perfectly when I joined them together though, not sure if that was an error I made but I saw at least one other review mentioning the same thing. I just squared them up by hand and I don't think you can really tell in the end. I also added three ribbon ties to close the opening rather than just one. The little tree ornaments were an adorable way to use up scraps!

There wasn't enough back fabric. I filled cuts listed. I would add 2.5 yards. Other than that I lived this design. I've promised a quilt to my husband 9 years ago. I managed to make it in one weekend. Really impressive and easy. I'd also make sure to get the tools listed. It made the process much faster.
