Welcome to view our listing of this Vintage Mid Century Anchor Hocking EAPC Prescut Star Of David Glass Punch Bowl Base!

This Star of David Glass Pedestal Base is an Early Prescut Glass with Fan & Star of David designs precut into the glass. the Fan design has 10 extending prescut leaves that extend on the glass creating a fan design. There are a total of 4 Fan designs on this base. There are also a total of 4 Star of David 8 pointed star designs on this base. On the very bottom of the punch bowl base is a total of (4) 4 sided triangular diamond shapes with a total of 4 floral shaped 8 leaf designs.

This glass punch bowl pedestal base measures 7" in height by 8-1/2" in width at the top opening and 5" across the base.

This Star of David Glass pedestal punch bowl base was produced by the Anchor Hocking Company from 1960 to 1999, although most pieces were discontinued by 1978. It is from the Early American Prescut line of 700 series glass. The Star of David pattern came about after the surge of colored depression ware was released. It is comprised of an eight-pointed star that is somewhat similar to the Jewish star that is made by having two overlaid equilateral triangles that form a six-pointed star giving a dimensional look and also referred to as the Star & Fan, and Pressed Star & Fan.

This Star of David Glass pedestal punch bowl base can be used for its intended purposes or as a bowl or fruit compote!
