Here is a rare original c.1890 cabinet card of a famous horse named White Wings, who was a popular sideshow and circus attraction of the Victorian Era.

On the back of the photo in old ink somebody wrote:

"ASTORS PET HORSE"

I believe White Wings was owned by John Jacob Astor IV, an American millionaire who died in the sinking of the Titanic.

Photo has some soiling and light wear - a few small scuffs as seen in the scan.

6.5" x 4.25".
