Elegant and simple white dress.
Slim black paisley print
suggestive of M C Escher drawings
and any number of Eastern images
in essence.

1960’s sleeveless dress.
Corded bead trim at neck and arm openings.
Slightly dropped waist.
Wide skirt is pleated
giving it a very nice smooth line at the hips.
Back zipper.
Fabric is suggestive of soft linen
probably Rayon.

Label: n/a

Wonderful vintage condition. One pink stain on the skirt back. Very slight yellowing at neckline and arm openings. Hem interfacing has a 15” long blue section. The rest is grey. But it’s so well done it looks possibly original... as if they just ran out of the grey and used blue. This suggests that this dress may be homemade. If so, it was remarkably well done. An extraordinary design sense in the print matching and truly beautiful craftsmanship.
