∎ About the Leather:
This is leather with a waxy coating.
Thats why this leather is mat. Plus of this coating is in that scratches are easy to wipe by fingers and this is a feature of this leather. With time of using this leather will be darkness.
Leathers are made by applying a special kind of wax to a full grain leather surface that has been buffed and smoothed out. The type of wax used rests independently upon the leather fibers allowing the coloration of the leather surface to change if rubbed without the colors immediately reversing back. This process of rubbing and altering the color shades is what causes the antique appearance and is exactly what the craze for this leather is all about.
∎ Leather is a unique product and its tan may slightly vary.
There might be some natural scars/marks as it is genuine leather.
Also I would like to clarify that all Bow-Ties are made of 100% genuine leather - With regular wear, the leather will stretch slightly with time.
