Nine 1909 Nutshell Library Books by Sherwin Cody. These are little paperback books that condense works of great authors and poets. Each has a copyright date of 1907. They are about 5" tall.

These little books have a lovely black and white print cover with black binding. They are all in good vintage condition. It is remarkable that these little paperbacks have survived as well as they have. Noted next to the specific book is any issues that I have identified. They would be a wonderful addition to any library and the titles are as follows:

An Evening with Tennyson-a few pages that are dog-eared at the bottom.
An Evening with Burns-one page with a small tear
An Evening with Dickens-
An Evening with Lamb-inside back cover has a mark that looks like a fingerprint.
An Evening with Scott-
An Evening with Thackeray-Owners name on inside front A bit of the spine is loose.
An Evening with Longfellow-
An Evening with Irving-Spine has a small tear
An Evening with Hawthorne-Small stain on bottom of first few pages, a few pages have tears.
